One of our fellow classmates kindly let me know that Larry Bush passed away this past January.  I hadn't seen this at the time, so here is the Obituary, as printed in the Morning Call back in January, 2017.

 

Lawrence D. Bush, Jr., 59, of Bushkill Township, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Tuesday, January 17, 2017. He was the husband of Sherry (Schaffer) Bush. They celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary on June 2nd. Born in Fountain Hill, on May 11, 1957, he was a son of Lawrence D. Sr. and Barbara (Radcliffe) Bush of Moore Township. Larry was a graduate of Northampton High School, class of 1975. He attended East Stroudsburg University before transferring to the University of New Mexico, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Larry started his career with Ingersoll-Rand Co. in Phillipsburg, NJ, and sequentially worked for various manufacturing companies in the region before successfully owning his own company. From 1999 to 2014, he was the President of CTM Systems, Inc. in Upper Nazareth Township. Larry enjoyed woodworking, following scholastic sports and NASCAR, and he cherished spending time with his family. He was an active member and volunteer of Salem United Church of Christ of Moorestown. Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Sherry, and his parents, he is survived by his children, Anthony and Kimberly Bush both of Bushkill Township; a grandson, Logan; two brothers, Gary Bush and his wife, Renee of Point Phillips and Donald "Boop" Bush and his wife, Vicki of Whitehall; two sisters, Donna Smith and her husband, Dennis of Palmerton and Linda Saeger and her husband, Randy of Wind Gap; mother-in-law, Gladys (George) Schaffer of Lower Nazareth Township; nieces and nephew. Services: A Memorial Service in celebration of Larry's life will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017, at 12:00 Noon in Salem United Church of Christ, 2218 Community Drive, (Moorestown) Bath, PA 18014. Friends and relatives are invited to call from 9:00 A.M. to 12 Noon in the church. Interment will be private. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, Inc., Village of Moorestown - Bath. Contributions: may be made in memory of Larry to Salem United Church of Christ of Moorestown.

Judith Hammel (Roman)

I always considered Larry one of my closest friends in high school. He was always so sweet & nice. I hope he considered me as one of his too ! RIP Larry
